WINERY INFORMATION Senior Winemaker Andrew Koerner started his winemaking career with Hardys Wines in the year 1987 Inspired by pioneer Phillip Shaw rsquo s winemaking approach Andrew joined Rosemount in 1999 as Senior Winemaker After working some years as Winery Manager for Rosemount Denman wiery he joined the Blue Pyrenees rsquo winemaking team in the year 2004 TASTING NOTES Blue Pyrenees Midnight Cuvee was produced using a tiny percentage of Pinot Noir grapes with 99 Chardonnay grapes The fruit parcels were handpicked at night This dazzling Midnight Cuvee shows a green straw colour with gentle bubbles stemming from the glass Delicate aromas of citrus fresh baked apple pie and hazelnuts form the aromatic bouquet The lush palate packs luscious baked confection flavours which are reminiscent of apple Danish Lemon fruit and light creamy characters complete the array of flavours and coupled with fine mineral acidity the palate culminates in a dry finale This wonderful white blend can be cellared for up to a decade or enjoyed upon release nbsp
