WINERY INFORMATION Located to the west of the McLaren Vale township Curtis Family Vineyards is a family owned wine estate managed by Mark Thomas and Jenna Curtis The Curtis siblings manage the family estate under the guidance of their father Claudio Curtis The family has been in the grape growng and winemaking business since 1973 nbsp TASTING NOTES Aged in French as well as American oak barrels this marvellous Block Nine Shiraz displays a deep plum colour with brick red highlights The attractive bouquet exudes fresh berry fruit aromas of mulberries blackberries and raspberries These fragrances effortlessly shift to a juicy and structured palate containing flavours of red berry fruits oak and fine tannins The climax is balanced and persistent This delightful Shiraz has been crafted for consumption upon release but can also be cellared for a term of 9 years Pair it with brisket beef burgers and roasted vegetable pizza to enjoy an appeasing meal
