There is perhaps a touch of botrytis in there too, in the form of marmalade toast. Very inviting. The palate leads with honeyed citrus, of an intensity comparable to the nose. There's a wonderful acidity that picks up and carries through in a zippy, racy line to the finish. Balanced beautifully by a hint of residual sweetness, the finish opens out to ripe citrus notes and more river stone mineral.
