The first vintage of this wine (2008) was made by accident: very ripe Sauvignon Blanc grapes suffered heavy rain which led to noble rot setting in then the wind dried the grapes which concentrated the sugar and flavour making a voluptuous concentrated wine akin to a German beerenauslese.
