This is another gem from our favourite Austrian producer Allram. Riesling from the Premier Cru Gaisberg site in Kamptal - made with TLC and a lot of know-how. Gaisberg is a cool site and the resulting wine has drive, and then some. They have used a bit of skin contact in the winemaking process whichhas added texture to the wine - and have left the faintest (4.5 grams) of residual sugar to balance that driving acidity. Lovers of top-shelf Clare or Grosses Gewachs - this is one for you. Beautifully elegant, dry and layered riesling. It is an absolute delight.
