This wine is not just a testament to the Zonte's Footstep vineyard or the hearty and generous style of Shiraz the Barossa tends to produce but to the skill of the team in making a damn good wine. The nose is a frank display of ripe, juicy black fruits while the palate shows the youthful austerity yo would expect from an old school Shiraz, but there's also plenty of finesse to the tannin and dark chocolate nuances in the lengthy finish. This is one dangerously drinkable Barossa Shiraz.
