WINERY INFORMATION Yealands Family Wines is a family-owned wine company crafting award-winning flavoursome wines Founder Peter Yealands started the business with a vision to become one of the leading sustainable wine producers in the region Peter established the winery in August 2008 It s greatto know that the winery was the first in the world to be certified CarboNZeroCertTM right from its inception nbsp TASTING NOTES The grapes used to produce this fantastic Sauvignon Blanc were carefully selected from Seaview Vineyard in Awatere Valley A portion of the juice obtained was aged on lees and then regularly stirred The remaining wine was then matured in French oak Winemaker s Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is a pale straw coloured wine flaunting intense aromas of white flowers and dried thyme from its scintillating nose The rich and textured palate is filled with ripe herbal and savoury flavours Fresh acidity integrates with the structured palate to end the wine in an elegant and captivating finish With a cellaring potential of 6 years from vintage this delicious Sauv Blanc tastes fantastic with grilled chicken or seafood like fish mussels and prawns nbsp
