WINERY INFORMATION Founder and wine pioneer Wolfgang Franz Otto Blass established Wolf Blass Wines in the year 1966 In 1970 winemaker John Glaetzer joined Wolf rsquo s venture Over the decades Wolf Blass has received over 8500 wine awards for its premium quality and outstanding wine portfolio In 2003 the company became the No 1 wine brand in Australia both by volume and by value TASTING NOTES This exquisite Eaglehawk Rose is a marvellous blend of Sangiovese Grenache and Shiraz grapes It shows a rose petal pink colour Wonderful aromas of strawberry and black cherry flow off the elegant bouquet The light bodied and refreshing palate contains juicy red fruit as well as fresh berry flavours that culminate in a crisp and clean finale This wine is perfect for consumption upon release It pairs extremely well with prawn risottos or grilled salmon steaks with raspberry vinaigrette and spring salad nbsp
