WINERY INFORMATION Located on Ingoldby Road in McLaren Flat Walker rsquo s Run is a family operated wine estate producing single vineyard Shiraz wines using premium grapes grown on their family vineyard The company was founded by Rob Sandra and their daughter Lucie Walker who shifted from Whyala in search of green pastures and settled in McLaren Flat in 1993 They planted their first 4 acres of Shiraz vines in 1994 with the support of family and friends nbsp TASTING NOTES Walker rsquo s Run Shiraz features a deep red colour with purple tinges throughout the wine It offers fruity and spicy aromas from its scintillating nose while the palate is robust and intense brimming with flavours of dark fruits such as sweet blueberry and savoury black olive Spicy and peppery notes fuse with the Shiraz grape characters altogether leading to a sharp and captivating finish Pair this full-bodied Shiraz with roasted vegetables beef burgers and cheddar cheese to unlock its full flavour potential nbsp
