V&A lane is a long, straight road that dissects Coonawarra’s famous terra rossa strip at its midpoint. surveyed in 1851, the lane divides the original electorates of Victoria and Albert and the area is celebrated for exceptional cabernet sauvignon and shiraz wines. Lifted aromas of blueberies, dusty cacao, sweet and sour pastry, layered by hints of fresh tar and black rose. Crunchy wild cranberries and bright blueberries are reigned in with layers of savoury stalks, pastry and hints of spice. Silky tannin add depth and tone, guiding the essence of the fruit through the palate, leaving subtleties of crushed pepper and cinnamon spice notes on the finish.
