They combine ancient soils with winemaking tradition and a light touch to produce a surprisingly slick, modern syrah. Fresh and spicy, with fragrant herbal notes overlying perfectly ripe red berries and sweet-tart plums. Firm but approachable tannin makes for a physically satisfying experience, and there’s no lack of complexity to delve into.
