WINERY INFORMATION Located in Nagambie in Victoria Tar amp Roses produces premium wines using a combination of both traditional and new winemaking techniques After crafting multi award winning wines for more than 32 years accomplished winemaker Don Lewis teamed up with Narelle King his colleaue from the Mitchelton winery in 2006 and established the Tar amp Roses wine brand TASTING NOTES This pretty Tar amp Roses The Rose Shiraz displays a black cherry colour Intense aromas of shaved dark chocolate mulberries wild fennel and earthy notes flow from its lifted nose with hints of blackberry vines and custard following close behind Well structured tannins beautifully integrate with flavours of caramelized beetroot mulberry jam and sweet balsamic vinegar on the juicy palate to end this dazzling Shiraz in a fine and lingering finale It tastes excellent with slow roasted lamb shanks in red wine reduction jus served with winter vegetables and fresh crusty bread nbsp
