WINERY INFORMATION With the first vines planted in 1990 Symphonia Fine Wines hails from nbsp of King Valley near Myrrhee Owned by Peter and Suzanne Evans the vineyards of Symphonia Wines are located in the Victorian alpine region of Australia The climate and soil of King Valley has proven idel for growing varieties like Pinot Grigio Tempranillo Saperavi Tannat Petit Manseng and Albarino which have been imported from cool regions across the world TASTING NOTES Designed by winemaker Robert Paul Symphonia Savagnin lifts with varietal aromas of white peach and summer melon It goes on to present a spicy undertone and a subtle influence of lees which become more apparent with time Rich well structured and bold this aromatic white wine features a generous and mouth-filling palate that begins with a creamy smoothness and fills the palate with flavour and texture Perfect for those who like wines with weight generosity and silky texture Symphonia Savagnin has a savoury intensity to its stone fruit and pear flavours Very ripe and plush honeydew melon nuances linger on a light fine finish The taste of this wine enhances with pancetta pork belly washed rind cheeses or fresh seafood like an oyster and antipasto selection
