WINERY INFORMATION Swings amp Roundabouts Wines is a restaurant and cellar door situated on Caves Road in Yallingup The estate is named so to express the act of balance maintained by the winemaking team at different levels of grape production and winemaking The team also believes that whateve is lost on the swings can be ultimately picked on the roundabouts Accomplished winemaker Brian Fletcher heads the winemaking team nbsp TASTING NOTES The premium grapes used to produce Backyard Stories Chardonnay were picked and the whole bunch pressed followed by barrel stirring This process led to the creation of a full green coloured wine showing lemon tints The luxurious bouquet exudes rich perfumes of Chardonnay grapes cashew nut and French oak These fragrances shift to the delicate palate laden with intense fruit flavours ending the wine in a lengthy and persistent finish With the potential to be cellared for five years from vintage this delightful Chardonnay serves best with duck or goose preparations nbsp
