WINERY INFORMATION Shaw Smith was established with the vision to make exciting and refined wines exclusively from Adelaide Hills that rank amongst the best wines of Australia It is the brainchild of cousins Martin Shaw and Michael Hill Smith both of whom had wanted to start manufacturing and seling wine together for a long time They finally realized their dream in 1989 after having a long Sunday lunch and deciding to pursue their goal TASTING NOTES This elegant Shiraz displays a dark red colour with red berry and dried herb aromas flowing from the bouquet The complex and powerful palate features mulberry raspberry and cherry flavours complemented by light nuances of dark chocolate These flavours mesh with the plush tannin layer to provide a refreshing and long finish A great food accompaniment to Shaw Smith Shiraz is Moroccan slow cooked lamb
