This Schloss Reinhartshausen Rheingau Dry Riesling shows the glory of German Riesling. The Rheingau is best known for drier Riesling styles, with it's slightly warmer, gentler slopes producing wines with more body than elsewhere. Here, that translates into a scintillating white wine that couples ristine, almost crystalline acidity with crunchy green apples and grapefruit zest. A gold medal winning, 93 point (from Decanter) scoring, classic white. What a ride.
