The famous Rose of Virginia by Charles Melton is made prominently from Grenache. A wonderfully rich style with aromas that leap out of the glass at you. The Grenache shows its true colours in the perfume, and the Cabernet and Shiraz add texture to the palate whilst still allowing the wine to retain lightness of touch for which it is known for. A pinch of Pinot Meunier and Mataro add just the merest hint of spice. Enjoy now with your favourite friends and sunny afternoon.'This long-time rose benchmark is based on grenache with a fair dose of cabernet sauvignon and contributions from shiraz, pinot meunier and pinot noir. The result is a lovely red berry and cherry flavoured wine with a touch of sweetness and crisp finish.
