Lively and precise on the palate, offering gently sweet red fruit flavours and a hint of licorice pastille. Finishes with strong spicy persistence.'A very attractive bouquet of dark red fruits centring on Doris plum then blackberry fruits - all wrapped up in a blanket of toasty oak - but not too much; medium complexity; there is also a dense dark rose layer which adds complexity and a feminine charm; On the palate - dry with a velvet textured mix of dark red plums and black fruits, a touch of licorice and five spice; medium tannins and medium acidity; balanced, medium plus length and complexity. Balanced and well made.
