True to its long history of continuous innovation Noval has been the first to experiment with Rhne varieties in the Douro. Syrah proved the most worthy offering fleshy vibrancy and silky charm accounting for 30% of the blend with the balance being the classic Douro varieties. Matured in high qualty French oak this is only the fourth release of Cedro do Noval. Cherry plums and smoked meat with fine tannins. A powerful wine with savoury herbs on the finish.
