We’ve got something here that’s a bit special, certainly punching well above its weight. This pinot, of which the producer did not make heaps, was treated to a partial whole bunch fermentation before being laid to rest in a mix of old and new large format French oak barrels. What flows out of th bottle is quintessential Marlborough pinot, laden with cherry and plum, gentle spices, fine tannins and wonderfully silky concentration.
