Matt Head, Chief Winemaker at Parous, once said this “may be the best wine I have ever made” and people seem to agree with him. This 60/40 shiraz mataro blnd took out both a gold medal and trophy at the McLaren Vale Wine Show to go with its 93 point Halliday rating and, more importantly, the label has unicorns on it. And unicorns don’t just become the mascots for any old winery, they’re picky little mythical creatures. I mean, Voldemort drank their blood to sustain his life – that’s some special juice right there. At the ‘Fo we’ve jumped on the Dark Lord’s bandwagon and taken to sipping on this Vale vino as much as possible because, you know, immortality. You can’t argue with science. Or Harry Potter.
