TASTING NOTES The grapes used to produce Off The Books Touriga were handpicked from the Book Book vineyard in Ladysmith The fruit was destemmed prior to fermentation in open fermenters This process led to the creation of a cloth-staining purple colour accompanied by a vibrant haze The luxuriousbouquet is perfumed with boysenberry violet spice and blood plum aromas The medium bodied palate is rife with lively flavours of blackberry boysenberry spice and dark soil with a gentle touch of herbs These magnificent flavours and fragrances fuse together to end in a complex yet captivating finish Crafted to be relished upon release this tempting Touriga can also be cellared for a decade It complements foods like lamb pie with mint barbecue beef and Gruyere cheese
