WINERY INFORMATION Vineyard Norfolk Rise Vineyard is situated at the southern tip of South Australia in the heart of the lush and picturesque Mount Benson region The vineyard estate is spread across land covered with nutrient-rich Terra Rossa soils that aid in the growth and nurture of high-qualiy grapes expressing remarkable elegance and flavour profiles Winemaking The Shiraz grapes were crushed and fermented in small batches so that rich flavours and savoury tannins could be extracted from them This resulted in a wine displaying magenta purple and red hues and an alcohol level of about 14 TASTING NOTES A vibrant bouquet greets the nose with aromas of berry fruit and dark cherry mixing with floral nuances and subtle notes of olives pepper and cured meats The palate is filled with dark and red fruit flavours meshing and balancing well with spice nuances integrated chocolaty oak and fine supple tannins This wine can either be consumed upon release or be cellared for a period of 10 years Pair it up with spicy Spanish paellas tapas cheese platters or rare beef rib eye roasts
