WINERY INFORMATION Owned and managed by Kaesler Wines Nashwauk Wines is based on a 20 hectare property on Neill Road in the Seaview sub-region of McLaren Vale Winemakers Reid Bosward and Stephen Dew are the proprietors and visionaries behind this vibrant and flavoursome wine range Kaesler Wines ought the property in 2005 and released its first vintage in 2006 TASTING NOTES The fruit used to craft Nashwauk Tempranillo was handpicked and open fermented The ferment was hand plunged and gently pressed whenever necessary prior to maturation in French oak barriques This process led to the creation of a dark cherry coloured wine The attractive bouquet reminds one of a Moroccan spice market exuding scents of exotic spices such as clove and star anise Fine tannins integrate with the firm and robust palate presenting light hints of black fruits cinnamon nutmeg and tobacco These characters further combine with earthy undertones to offer a stylish and focused finish With a medium term cellaring potential of about 8 years this elegant white wine tastes marvellous with Spanish tapas sausages and cured meats nbsp
