WINERY INFORMATION Located in the Lenswood sub-region of Adelaide Hills SA Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard was established in 1992 This family owned vineyard is planted with nearly 19 000 grapevines of Riesling Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir varieties The first wine from this brand was prduced in 1997 Owners Garry Sweeney and Sharon Pearson acquired this flourishing vineyard in 2009 TASTING NOTES This delightful Old Apple Block Chardonnay displays a straw green colour A swirl of the glass reveals citrus nectarine and toasty cashew fragrances These aromas shift to the juicy palate ending the wine in a creamy and multi-layered finale This wonderful Chardonnay from Mt Lofty Ranges has the potential to be cellared for a few years It tastes amazing with fish pates grilled fish and Brie cheese
