WINERY INFORMATION McHenry Hohnen Wines produces excellent ranges of full flavoured wines showcasing the purest expressions of the vineyards from which they were hand harvested Senior Winemaker Julian Grounds heads the winemaking team The winery is situated in Hazel rsquo s Vineyard on the Rocky oad block just south of Witchcliffe Western Australia nbsp TASTING NOTES Amigos White is a stylish blend of Chardonnay Marsanne and Roussanne grapes This gorgeous straw green-hued blend releases mesmerising scents of butterscotch lanolin and sweet grilled peaches from its perfumed nose Soft and savoury hints of wet slate and peanut brittle lurking in the background enhance the aromatic bouquet A sip of the wine presents exciting flavours of grilled nuts stone fruits and preserved Meyer lemons The finish is sweet and lengthy marked by custard powder spice and salted caramel characters This medium-bodied white blend has the potential to be cellared for a decade It can also be relished immediately upon release tasting fantastic with creamy chicken curries like a korma nbsp
