This maker’s new to us, but their wines seem to be very capable of making friends on their behalf. And from one of the highest parts of the Hills comes gris with some skills. Spicy, rich, fine but fleshy, here¢â‚¬â„¢s gris in true form. Stonefruits, pear, and a minerally, fresh herb-laced backbone of lively acidity sets this apart. Yet it manages to be as gentle and giving as the pastel-coloured label. This gris is good, very good.
