The immediate taste is an oak sweetness a contribution from 18 years in the barrel with a faint hint of ocean salt notes testimony to its time maturing on the remote island of Islay. The Whisky is non-chill filtered adding depth of taste and an oily smoothness to the textured full bodied finish. A classic Islay.
