The Block 6 vineyard dates back to 1892. Over 120 years later four acres still remain cropping at extremely low levels the fruit is of extreme quality. The wine is an excellent example of a big rich & brooding McLaren Shiraz. After basket pressing & fermentation in open top fermenters built in 186 the wine is matured for over 2 years in new American & Baltic oak producing intense flavour & great longevity. This one is definitely a keeper. The 2010 is the 26th release of this unique single vineyard wine..
