WINERY INFORMATION Just Red is a family-owned boutique winery located in the Granite Belt region of Queensland Australia As the name suggests Just Red specialises in red wines made from Shiraz Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon Tannat and Viognier grape varieties Situated at an altitude of 900m abovesea level Just Red rsquo s vineyards experience cool nights and warm sunshine and have decomposing granite soil - perfect for their flagship red wines TASTING NOTES Just Red Cabernet Merlot features great complexity of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes from the Granite Belt region Showing a rich red colour the wine opens with sophisticated aromas of blackcurrants violets and liquorice The medium bodied palate presents coffee and subtle vanilla hints that come from ageing in French oak barrels This fantastic red wine can be cellared for several years and pairs amazingly well with mushrooms cheeses and red meats
