The Head s Grenache Shiraz Mataro blend is grown in the sub-region of Greenock - a vineyard that is an impressive 100 years old Each component of this wine is fermented separately which leads to a higher definition and purity of fruitiness This is a true Bistro wine style utilising red fruits pppers Asian spice acidity and a long chewy and heavy textured finish The sheer burgundy colour compliments the sweet scent of musky florals raspberry white pepper spice and anise The taste it a plump palate with red fruits liquorice and pepper and is an overall balanced and medium bodied wine A wine that is easy to drink on it s own but also tastes superb with a slice of pizza or a bowl of fresh pasta The Head s Red GSM is one red-head you won t be embarrassed to go home with
