Vibrant fruits and bright acidity with a dry lingering finish.One of the great influences on Virginia Willcock’s life was at her first Cape Mentelle tasting in 1991. After tasting the greatest Margaet River Cabernets alongside the greatest Grand Vin Bordeaux, she resolved to make great Cabernet and in Margaret River, a place she considers paradise on Earth. Even after achieving some of her lofty ambitions, Virginia still feels the weight of expectation, 'With a year of nurturing some of the greatest vines in the district, you only get one chance a year to harvest at the right time, understand the detail of the vintage and nurture a wine to perfection'.
