WINERY INFORMATION Elderton Wines is a family owned winery situated in Nuriootpa Barossa Valley headed by Cameron and Alistair Ashmead Established in 1979 as a small family farm the winery is renowned for incorporating green initiatives and organic winemaking practices to produce world class wies from the grape varieties unique to the Barossa region TASTING NOTES This 2015 Elderton Estate Shiraz displays dark purple hues and contains an alcohol level of 14 5 The vibrant bouquet exudes rich aromas of black forest fruits chocolate and vanilla These fragrances seamlessly move on to the palate to provide juicy flavours of chocolate plum and berries ending the wine in a spicy and lingering climax This full-bodied Shiraz has a cellaring potential of 10 years and is a great match with grilled roast beef barbecued meats and steak with peppercorn sauce nbsp
