Edwards Vineyard Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2016 (12 x 750mL) Margaret River.AromaThe 2016 Edwards Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is another cracking example of this classic Margaret River blend. Lifted up front floral notes dominate the nose with citrus blossom, musk, hints of lme, citrus rind and gooseberry. Cut grass and fresh hay notes from the Semillon round out the nose.PalateLean, tight and fresh but with a full fruit palate, the length and persistence of fruit of this wine is incredible. Ideal ripening conditions ensured abundant natural acidity and very little additional acid was added during the fermentation process. The purity of varietal fruit and cleansing minerality are in perfect balance with the natural acidity. Hints of green apple, fresh grapefruit, citrus and cut grass characters from the Semillon dominate the palate with the refreshing floral characters from the Sauvignon Blanc. One of the best Semillon vintages in years, this varietal provides exceptional texture and weight to the palate.CellaringEnjoy now but will keep for up to 2 years when cellared correctly
