The 98pt result of an experiment to produce new flavours in a Tuscan wine. Frankly, it still tastes like a Tuscan to me. There’s cherries galore and the dusty gravel path tannins of a Chianti. But, thereÀ™s no denying it’s a stunning wine, so whether it’s wildly different or not is pretty much irrelevant. It’s still a no-brainer with pasta or pizza, big family gatherings under the pergola, rolling hillsides and golden sunsets. You could say they’ve Sir Pass-ed themselves.
