WINERY INFORMATION The philosophy of the winemaking team at De Bortoli is based on the belief that the production of great wines starts from the vineyard and each wine should reflect the unique characteristics of the region where the grapes are grown The company was established by wine pioneer Vitorio De Bortoli when he purchased a 55-acre mixed fruit farm to produce his own wines in 1928 nbsp nbsp TASTING NOTES De Bortoli Jean Pierre Rose shows a blush pink colour with fine beads providing it a stunning look The perfumed nose releases a combination of complex aromas including fresh cream bread dough clean citrus notes and floral characters while the soft palate is driven by sweet flavours of fresh cherries These vibrant elements are balanced by a good line of acidity while dazzling bubbles offer a creamy texture and captivating finish to the wine This light bodied wine can be consumed fresh and young upon release while also having the potential to be cellared for 3 years drinking well with natural oysters with black pepper and a squeeze of lime
