Shiraz is the main varietal grown in the Langhorne Creek region and the folk at Cleggett have got it down to a fine art. This single vineyard shiraz was aged for 18 months and, with its notes of blackcurrant, cinnamon and white pepper, James Halliday gave it an A-ok worth 94 points. He notes the suple black fruit flavours and touches of cedary oak and spice – a “perfectly ripened shiraz” for you perfectly enlightened mofos.
