This outstanding Hunter Valley Semillon is well worth seeking out. The 2012 vintage is just showing signs of development. Typical hay and straw notes on the nose with underlying cut grass characters. These follow through to the palate plus some lime cordial notes. Good acidity and a slight herbal en. Best consumed over the short term. Classic Hunter from two old Semillon blocks, planted in 1940 at Broke.
