Syrah and Grenache are the two leading red grapes of the Rhône and Southern France. In this delicious red from the South of France’s wild and beautiful Languedoc region, the blaccurrant intensity of Syrah works brilliantly with the peppery, strawberry fruit of Grenache. 2018 was a lovely ripe year all over France, including the sunny Languedoc. You'll certainly enjoy the Mediterranean sun in this ripely fruity red. On the nose, look forward to ripe, juicy raspberry and blackberry aromas with a leafy, tobacco note. The palate is silky and ripe, mid weight and moreish, with lots of juicy pastille fruit. This would be delicious with a mixed grill.
