WINERY INFORMATION Auntsfield is a family owned and operated wine company producing fragrant intense and bold wines The Cowley family ensures that the wine brand represents the winemaking heritage initiated by David Herd in 1873 The winemaking team led by Luc Cowley produces these fantastic wins using premium fruit parcels sourced from the company rsquo s vineyard in Southern Valleys Marlborough nbsp TASTING NOTES The fruit used to create this dazzling Hawk Hill Pinot Noir was handpicked and destemmed followed by fermentation in open tanks Post maturation in French barriques the wine features a deep red colour The fragrant bouquet exudes dark plum and berry fruit aromas coupled with gamey and savoury characters of violets and dried spice The rich palate contains generous fruit flavours balanced by fine oak and tannins The finish is bold and lengthy Pair it with beef bourguignon roasted chicken and Italian mushroom risotto nbsp
